Equip your computers, laptops and customers with a Langmeier backup that is customized to your company. If the user decides to buy it, you earn money.

How it works

The customized setup contains your logo. And if a user of a trial version decides to buy, the user is directed to your store.

As a certified Langmeier backup partner, you secure your valuable margin while you can distribute our software without restrictions.

This is how you proceed:

  1. Make sure that you are entered in the reseller locator as required. Contact our customer service or your sales contact if a change is necessary or if you are not yet entered in the reseller locator.
  2. Download Über-Setup.
  3. Simply rename the file name of the Über-Setup as follows:

    lmbackup_setup-XXXXXX.exe

    XXXXXX is your reseller ID at Langmeier Software. Please ask our customer service for this reseller ID.

  4. Distribute this setup as often as you like. You may make an unlimited number of copies of this file. You may distribute this file online and offline on data carriers, you may pre-install the Langmeier Backup demo version on computers and laptops.


And this is how the Langmeier Backup "Über-Setup" works:

  • Über-Setup will first download your logo from the Reseller Locator at Langmeier Software, as well as retrieve your website URL stored there.
  • Über-Setup will then always download the latest version of Langmeier Backup from the Internet.
  • The latest version of Langmeier Backup will then be installed on the computer.
  • Your logo is now displayed in the "Help->Info about Langmeier Backup" dialog. Click on the logo to open your website.
  • If the user now wants to activate Langmeier Backup via the "Register" function, your website will be displayed to the user first. The user can then purchase a Langmeier Backup license key on your website.

Internet access required: An active Internet connection is required for installation by Über-Setup. If you do not have Internet access, please use the normal download link for the Langmeier Backup setup.

Please note: Our terms of use stipulate that you present Langmeier Backup on your website - and that Langmeier Backup can be ordered online via your website 24 hours a day. If this is not the case, this violates the terms of use of the Langmeier Backup "Über-Setup" program. In this case, we reserve the right to exclude resellers from the reseller locator and the Über-Setup program if a violation is discovered.
